The Looking Glass application suite natively supports a variety of 3D content formats:

Looking Glass Studio

Looking Glass Studio will provide controls for managing the contents of the Looking Glass Portrait when in standalone mode and will include support for minor editing, device syncing, and exporting.

File Format Support

Looking Glass Studio currently supports iPhone Portrait photos, android portrait photos, RGBD photos / videos, quilt images & videos, and light field photosets.

3D Slicer

3D Slicer is an open source software platform for medical image informatics, image processing, and three-dimensional visualization.

File Format Support

Various medical data, including .dcm, .mrrd, .nia, .obj, .mrml

ParaView

ParaView is an open-source, multi-platform data analysis and visualization application.

File Format Support

ParaView supports various scientific data formats, including .pvd, .vtp, .vtk, .vrml, and .stl

Your preferred format not listed?

This list of formats only describes what is natively supported by the above applications. If you'd like to see a hologram of a file in a format not listed, there are still plenty of options available, including:

• Converting your file into one of the above formats

• Manually constructing a Quilt

• Importing your file into one of our development tools
