HoloPlay Service
HoloPlay Service facilitates communication between your computer and any connected Looking Glass devices. It is required for Looking Glass applications and development tools. Download the latest version.

The following test shows whether HoloPlay Service is running as expected:
Troubleshooting
HoloPlay Service not detected
If the test above shows HoloPlay Service not detected
, make sure it's installed and running. Click here for the latest version.
If it is installed but not running...
Windows
Click on the Windows Start menu and search for "HoloPlay Service":
If you can't find it, go to C:/Program Files (x86)/Looking Glass Factory/HoloPlayService/
and double click HoloPlayService.exe
to launch the service.
Once launched, click "Rerun Test" at the top of this page.
Mac
Open Spotlight and search for "HoloPlay Service":
If you can't find it, go to /Library/Application Support/Looking Glass Factory/HoloPlayService/
and double click on HoloPlayService.app
to launch the service.
Once launched, click "Rerun Test" at the top of this page.
No Looking Glass detected / Error loading calibration
- Unplug all cables
- Find the Looking Glass icon on the Windows taskbar or Mac menu bar
- Click on it to reveal the menu
- Click "Restart HoloPlay Service"
- Plug cables back in
- Rerun the test at the top of this page
